In October 2011 psychotherapist, author and broadcaster Benjamin Fry opened Khiron House Recovery Clinic in Oxfordshire, and in 2012, Khiron House Day Clinic in Chelsea, London.
Khiron House is the UK's first dedicated facility for mental health conditions and behavioural disorders, including addictions, which treats deep-seated underlying emotional and psychological trauma.
Benjamin's work is informed by both his training as a psychotherapist and his journey as a patient, suffering from extreme trauma-related symptoms.
He was unable to find successful treatment in the UK and eventually went to America to get help.
His life was transformed by the effective treatment model delivered at Mellody House in Arizona, where he also observed remarkable healing in his fellow patients.
